We want to support homeschooling in Ireland, and so have made this as easy and as cost effective as possible!

Homeschooling with Living Books
We utilise as many Living Books as possible. These books are not your standard boring, dry textbooks–they are stories that make history/the Saints/science/etc., come alive for our children. They are stories that will resonate with your children, and that will stay in their memories as they grow to adulthood. They are truly must-reads.
We learn about history through Living Books–the Classics that have come down to us over time. We then incorporate the Lives of the Saints, Literature, and the Fine Arts–all to ensure the child is fully immersed in a particular time period and is easily able to make mental connections to appreciate our Catholic and Irish heritage. We specifically include and focus on our Irish Saints, Literature about and set in Ireland, and Irish art and music.
And to make it even better: Most of these texts are largely available for free online and/or to borrow from the Irish Library system. The ones that are not available for free–are readily available on many Irish websites, or from our own website.
Already Homeschooling with Another Provider?
One of the main reasons we love homeschooling is simply because parents have such a wide variety of options!
I personally used Seton as a child. Many families in Ireland use MODG. There’s Kolbe, Our Lady of Victory, The Hedge School . . . there are a lot of choices, and we love that!
We’ve designed our History Cycles to be fully stand-alone. That is, you can use whatever programme you’re currently using for the more mundane subjects (Reading/Phonics, handwriting, Maths) and utilise our History Cycles for the fun stuff!–for History, Poetry, Literature, Science and Fine Art Appreciation.
If you are looking for a complete curriculum, we invite you to check out our Primary School page to learn more about how we can help you homeschool in Ireland!
