In this Religion Course for Second Class, we cover the most essential subject. This year, we will have your child read a beautiful basic religion text for Second Class children: The Life of the Soul. We will have your child read through each lesson and either narrate the lessons back to you, or answer a few revision questions in the text, as assigned. We know that your child will enjoy reading this text himself, and we are sure that the whole family will gain a better understanding of our holy Faith.
To complete your child’s preparation for his First Confession and First Holy Communion, we will study and memorise the questions and answers in the St. Joseph First Communion Catechism. We believe that all children should have a thorough grounding in the Truths of our Faith, so accurately and simply described in the Catechism. The memorisation work done in Second Class will stay with your child for the rest of his life!
