Our Third Year Religion Course offers a user-friendly Lesson Plan for four-days-a-week of religious education for your child in Third Year. This course is designed to be used independently by the Secondary Student.
This course is not preparation for the Junior Cert Religious Education course.
This course is a solid, reliable instruction in the Catholic Faith, with an emphasis on our Irish Saints and Catholic heritage. This course is Religious Education as a Non-Examination Subject.

In this Religion Course for Third Year, we cover the most essential subject that we offer.
This year, we will begin to utilise the timeless Course in Religion series by Fr. John Laux, M.A. This tried-and-true Religion Course contains beautiful illustrations, solid religious truths and helpful suggestions for further study and revision.
We will also look at our Irish saints and how they lived out their lives and practised heroric virtue. These examples will teach us to strive for sanctity and become the next generation of Irish saints.
We will solidify our readings by weekly short writing assignments and four longer Papers, which we will then present to our families! This course is designed to teach the Secondary Student to read well, write well and speak well–all while becoming the best Catholic they can be!
